Pride & Prejudice

by

And so it start and yet hasn’t even begun.  P-E Obama is acting contrary to his words when first elected that there is only one President at a time and is attempting to put together an almost shadow Government with his high profile Administration posturing and media events.  The P-E has already held more media events the the past two Administrations combined.

Thus the pride.  See me, soon shall I be King. Presidential historians and political analysts say they cannot recall a time in the past 75 years when a president-elect has had so large a role as Obama, whose growing transition team often appears more prominent than the actual team in power.

By all means don’t come into this situation not ready with team intact, heaven knows you have handicap enough with your lack of experience and solid plans to vex you, but please stop with the showboating.  You aren’t in the NBA.

Wasn’t one of the P-E’s rhetorical lines “this election isn’t about race”?  So how come his replacement is about race?  And why hasn’t the P-E spoken up over what certainly should be an outrageous suggestion such as:  Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill, said it would be a “national disgrace” if Obama’s seat were not filled by an African American.  I mean this is just me thinking out loud here, but I would tend to lean towards the person best qualified to fill the position and help the Country.  Should it really make a difference what color or sex they are?

So would it be a “national disgrace” if  Sen. Clinton’s place isn’t filled by a woman?   Oh wait, race trumps gender in the Dems party.  Forget I suggested that they should follow the same line of thinking.  So I guess they need someone from Delaware that has a mouth large enough to accommodate his foot or both feet to replace Biden.  Wanted:  Village idiot that shoots off his mouth to replace ours.  Must like trains and stupid comments.  Must have the ability to talk without thinking, speak without making sense yet be able to convince self that it makes sense.  No principles are a plus.

New Mexico of course doesn’t have to run an ad to replace Gov. Richardson, but if they did it might read, Wanted; Hispanic that can take and receive positions yet stab the giver in the back while being protected from charges of selling nuke technology to foreign Governments.

Well you did vote for change.  I think by the end of the week I should be able to layout a real nice rouges list of almost jailed Clinton Cronies that are back as “experienced” advisers.  There’s a change for you experienced people that should have gone to jail or been fired helping the people that they aren’t going to stab in the back later.

Don’t get dizzy yet, the ride han’t even started, but just looking up the tracks, put your wallet in the child restraint device.  It’s looking to be a hell of a ride.

Enjoyed the piece, Chas. I appreciate your ability to use humor to get salient points across. The description for Biden’s replacement made me laugh out loud!

Time will tell just what happens. I love a quote from Mike Huckabee’s new book which I think you all should read. I got mine at the library.

“I knew we needed both change and experience—–without change there is no growth; without experience there is no path”.

Let’s hope the conservatives do not lay in wait to pounce on everything single little thing. We have many problems in our country that can be solved by Americans. Way too much energy is wasted on gottcha’s and name calling. That should have been left behind in Kindergarten.

    again a very insightful piece

obama has been acting like he was president even way before he was nominated or elected he has his own presidential seal already you wouldnt even know that bush was still president every day just like during the nomination he is on the tube giving some kind of news conference and not really answering any in depth questions

he is already backing off a lot of his promises just like other politicians promise the world and when they get there say “oops”
well maybe i cant give you everything i promised but keep following me blindly and my NEXT TERM i will have it all figured out by then

God help us we are probably going to be attacked again i knew with President Bush i slept well at night i wont be doing that for a long while yet
