The first budget passed by the House, which amounts to $410 billion, which is intended to run the Government until the end of the Fiscal Year.

According to Taxpayers for Common Sense sites identified almost 8,600 specially sponsored projects totaling $7.7 billion.  If memory serves the President promised that earmarks were no longer going to be acceptable.  Just to be fair Democrats say the number is $3.8 billion.  But the reality is either way it’s not their fault.

According to Rahm Emanuel; “That’s last year’s business.” Translation; “it’s all Bush’s fault”.  And if you think I’m Kidding; Obama’s top hands assigned responsibility to their predecessors and President George W. Bush.

We inherited this deficit and we inherited $4 trillion of new debt,” Emanuel said. “That is the facts.” Let’s get real, who controls the purse strings and has for the last 2 years?  We all know who caused the extra $4 trillion, it’s called bailout and stimulus.

Democrats have followed the same actions the cost the Republicans control of the Congress and are now managing to blame the Republicans for their spending.  If memory serves, and I know it does, this is the same budget the President Bush, (you remember him, the guy who caused all this mess), refused to sign.  Of course all Bush’s fault is the Dems response, but now that Bush is gone let’s punch the pork through again so the guy who said no more pork, can sign it.  Oh yea, and then blame it on Bush.

I also find this interesting; British Prime Minister Gordon Brown hopes to forge a “global new deal” with President Obama to rescue the world’s economy when he makes his first visit to the White House since Obama’s inauguration.

I hope someone reminds the PM that the last “New Deal” slowed the recovery from the depression and is in great part the problem we suffer from today with our deficit.  Social spending is out of control here and even worse there.  No thanks PM Brown.  We’ve already set our self on a path to ruin.

In fact the President’s new budget, his not the last Administrations, is massive and with the cap & trade is going to sock every American in the pocketbook with huge increases in cost.  Forget that no higher taxes for the middle class, that $13 is going to be sucked up in fuel cost and energy cost.  Forget spending to help the economy, you aren’t going have any change left over.

The President is proposing a budget that assumes a jaw-dropping deficit of $1.75 trillion this year, a quadruple increase from the year before. Remember the lead here?  It’s all Bush’s fault.  The wealthiest 5 percent would pay a whopping $1 trillion in higher taxes over the next decade.  These are the people that not only already pay 60% of the total revenue the Fed runs on, but they also are the people that create, hire and pay the wages of workers in this Country.

Of course the President still lies and claims the middle class is getting a tax cut, but I’ve already covered what happens to your tax cut.

I said it before and I’m sure I’ll say it again; “Hold on to your wallet, it’s going to be a tough ride”.

I’ve worked in the healthcare field for over 20 years, most recently specializing in Accounts Receivable. No one gets turned away. If they don’t pay, and the government doesn’t pick up the tab, the doctor or facility eats the bill. It may or may not go to collections, but either way, if the patient shows up again, they still get treatment. Healthcare workers are funny that way, compassionate. Wonder where that compassion will lead once the government takes over operations? In a life or death medical emergency, I have always said that I’d like loved ones to be treated by a card-carrying capitalist rather than a government bureaucrat.
The only crisis in health care is the lack of Governmental control over it. It’s not about better, or people, it’s about power.

I’m sick and tired of Obama’s scare tactics. He’s trying to scare us straight into socialism, pure and simple. He has a plan.
Ma’am, no general goes into combat without a plan. Obama was given the opportunity to steer us in this direction by the lack of Congressional oversight and is taking full advantage of it.

The health care scare; “44 million have no health care”. Yea but they can walk into any Hospital and get care. Not to mention that 25 million of those without health care aren’t even legally in the Country.

And Americans buy this bull. God help us.

Just reread the post…need we remind others that only in DC is maintaining the status quo in spending is a CUT….doesn’t that just make you want to go HHhhmmmmmMMMM
They don’t seem to be calling it spending any more Frank. Now we are investing our money. Soon I’m guessing we won’t be paying taxes, we will be donating, (with the threat of force of course), a large portion of our paycheck to invest in America.

Hi Chas: Just read your blog. Great stuff- as usual.
Great being a rather subjective phrase, but thank you very much. 😉

$44 will blame everything from deficit to toilet paper in the bathrooms on the Bush administration. Will he ever step up and take responsibility for his spending and poor judgement? The answer is simple…NEVER.
The new area of Politricks more of the same. And they said McCain was McSame…lol

    Fools all.
