Tough day for the President the other day when the Senate really understood that having killers in your voters backyard was pretty unpopular.  Especially if you have no actual plan on what you are going to do with them.

Once again running and ruling are two different things.  Too bad we have to put up with the learning curve.  I really hate to agree with Hillary, but she was right,  This is no time to OJT.

The GOP lost in the woods had moved to not call the socialist party under control the “Democrat Socialist Party,” I don’t understand why you can’t call a spade a spade.  Although in this case it might be the pot calling the kettle black.

The Democratic National Committee said the proposal reflected a political party so devoid of ideas that it was resorting to “name calling” and “petty politics.”  Obviously the DNC ignores its biggest supporters like, Huffington and the rest of those liberal places.  Because if they did read them, (and we know they do and supplies them with material), they would be calling the kettle black.

Repugs are a joke…the party won’t even exist in 20 years. Dem poster on FOX

Cheney: go back into hiding – that is where you were when leadership was needed and you should have been speaking out….no you wait until you don’t have to be responsible and then critize – you are a coward and hypocrite. Dem poster on FOX

And that’s just two from a rather conservative site, FOX.  And it certainly isn’t limited to bloggers or posters on News Sites.

Trust me, this nonsense isn’t limited to just one party.  Both are up to their necks in it.  Both parties have drifted so far away from the Constitution that they have no idea of the meaning of it, nor do they want to.  Since the 30’s if the politicians aren’t offering you a highest bid on who will give you more, you rean’t going to vote for them.  It really is that simple.

Once the Federal Government tricked you into believing that it was Constitutionally sound for the Government to play Robin Hood, and when the majority began to believe it,we were on the road to hell.  A few Presidents tried to return us back a bit, but it was never going to be enough.

Is it really possible to believe, looking at the rest of the World, and seeing who is the only super power, that they have it right?  How do you accomplish that much self-deception?   I’m sorry to the young who will have this as the legacy we leave them.  We are on the downward slide boys and girls.  We have moved and are moving even further from that which made us great.  From freedom to tyranny, from prosperity to mediocrity.  From the light on the hill, to the candle in the valley.

They don’t have it right at all Chas, and the citizens don’t think they have it right, in my opinion. We are about to find out just how committed the voting public is, aren’t we, as 2010 is closer today than it was yesterday. The new admin continues to cause havoc, admonishing and accusing the former admin, but we do know the message doesn’t resonate with the public when no progress is being made towards their particular circumstances. Pretty soon the most staunch critic looks around and says, whatsup with this? You have so much to say, but you haven’t done any better…in fact, things are worse. As we told our chiluns, you will comply cause I am in charge, but when grown, I expect to see you do it allllll better!!! Ok $44, do it better cause I am sure tired of hearing abt how badly it was done, hum? Great read as always…Gini
The President never seems to have had more than a blame Bush plan. It won the election for him, bute certainly hasn’t shown any solid policy from him.

Obama’s 2012 slogan might be; “I blame Bush, How about you?”

Yep, the conservatives and republicans are intimidated by the left into turning good ideas (calling a kettle black) into apologies. Sick of it.
Get a backbone or become the minority again for 40 years, but by then it will be way too late.

    Good Morning,
Cheney talks about our National Security,
and Obama points the finger at President Bush, we have a mess,
Obama is the one making this into a mess, first he released the interrogation techniques that were used against the terrorist, and wont release the documents that show the effectiveness of the program, wants to shut down Gitmo with out a plan,
why is this President going after President Bushs policies.
For the last last 8 years we heard these attacks against President Bush from the far left and the Democrats along with the MSM, and the attacks continue from this President, this is disgraceful,
all I can say is everything that the Bush Administration did to keep our country safe.. worked.
The President never had a plan more than blame Bush. I said during the primaries, I said it during the election and here I am still saying it. Because the same plan is still in place. “The problem isn’t my closing GITMO, it was Bush opening it”. Well, 94 Senators disagree with you Mr. President.

Own up, stand up and understand that at some time, blame Bush is going to stop working. But not if he can help it.

And how long will the USA remain the super power?
So long as we can fight the urge to steal from those who do and give to those who don’t. Unfortunately the stealers are winning the battle so far.

  5. Sterling Says:

I really like your last thought, about the US being the only remaining superpower. With great power comes great responsibility. What a shame that this country has voted all responsibility to such power.

    Great words, my friend.
But in the end, nothing but words. Ideas start there, but without the power and action to carry them out, just thoughts on paper.

You are so right that the Dems slapped Oimporter down and they have not even started yet.

As for the GOP they really need a backbone to stand up for their practices.
I don’t for a second believe that the Dems will be slapping down the President unless it threatens their re-election chances.
