Meanderings. 2-22-10

Lower Meridon School District loaned out lap tops for students use.  Nice, except they forgot to tell them they could turn on the built-in web cam remotly, with the little green on light not showing and watch them in their home.

The school’s first claim of looking for a missing lap top fell through when it was found that they had turned on cameras 42 other times.

The young kid that was on Fox & Friends yesterday gets my vote for class president though.  He solved the problem of intrusion by placing a piece of tape over the camera lens.

Two days ago you could hardly see a blade of grass in my yard.  Today it’s about 50/50 snow/grass.  Sump pumps go into high gear by mid afternoon, but it’s got to go somewhere.

Two suspected of burning Churches in Texas have been caught.  I say a fitting end wold be build them a small wooden Church of their own, lock them inside it and let them burn it down.  People like that really do not deserve much consideration.

Chas….one just might agree with that! re:penalty for church burning… YIKES! I add my vote for that kid for president of his class! Smart, for sure. lol I hope those involved with this lap top incident, at the school, are summarily dismissed! and charged as ‘peeping toms’. Wouldn’t hurt that they spend some time behind bars as well, for this act.
There are some people that are just burning up precious O2, that much is certain.
